Tools to Get Your Mobile Marketing Going.

Most business owners today lack the time, know-how and money to launch an effective online marketing strategy can make many small business owners neglect the whole endeavor of mobile marketing. The good news about mobile marketing is that you don’t necessarily need to dedicate a lot of time or money into a campaign to reap some rewards. Below is a short description of just some of the tools that will get you started. Gainesville Izigg has just launched a platform that will facilatate this marketing & take it to a higher leve by making it easy and affordable. Now you can take your business to where the eyes are.

Following are just a few mobile tools that small business owners can take advantage of to market their business to customers on the go. Even if you aren’t ready to launch a mobile marketing campaign, it’s still a good idea to take ownership of your business’ profiles on these sites to make sure the information is accurate and up to date:

Foursquare
(www.foursquare.com)
With nearly 3 million users, Foursquare has been getting a lot of attention in the media lately for its explosive popularity among young adults.

Foursquare is a mobile app that allows you to “check in” at locations – usually businesses – which tells other Foursquare users where you are. If you check in to a location a lot, you can become a “mayor” of that location – which can be a highly coveted achievement.

Some businesses have taken advantage of Foursquare by offering coupons to mayors or people who check in. Foursquare also provides a map to users so they can see what specials are being offered at nearby businesses.

Foursquare prominently lists which businesses are the most popular, so an owner can benefit by encouraging patrons to check in. Foursquare also provides details and stats on the people who check in at your business which can help you learn more about customers.

Facebook Places
(www.facebook.com/places)
Facebook – which now boasts more than 500 million users worldwide – recently launched Facebook Places as a competitor to Foursquare.

Facebook users can “check in” and their location is published on their Facebook page. They can then see which friends have also “checked in.”

Similar to Foursquare, a business owner can create a new place or claim a location that already has a profile in Facebook. You’ll be asked to verify that you can claim the location before you’ll be able to add photos and business details.

After an initial launch in a few cities, Facebook Places will be made available to more locations over time and the features offered to users and business owners will be expanded as well.

Yelp
(www.yelp.com)
Yelp is a website that allows users to post reviews of businesses, services, locations and events.

According to Yelp, 33 million people visited the site in June 2010. In addition to the website, Yelp also provides a mobile version with an interactive map and allows users to “check in” at locations. After “unlocking” your location, you can offer coupons through Yelp, update your business information and promote events.

Now is the time to to start think about the future of marketing and making a decision of getting ahead of the revolution. Visit Information Page for information or visit my retailers site for info.

Mobile Media is not mass marketing… but it will be soon.

We are on the brink of a revolution. If you haven’t been tracking the data on topics such as mobile device adoption in the US, mobile internet access penetration with smart phones and ipads,  dominating the market, and so on, you are blind to critical changes on how the consumer marketing and communications landscape is changing right in front of our eyes. There is a revolution going on.  It’s true… mobile marketing is not mass marketing today; however, within the next 2-3 years the lens through which consumers will view the physical and online worlds will have fundamentally changed. The wave is forming right now, as more consumers will access the internet through mobile devices than from wired devices (desktops, laptops) at some point in 2013 (as projected by Morgan Stanley). Its time to start thinking of going where the eyes will be, mobile marketing. All this is being made possible through a newly launched platform.. Mobile marketing is here now. Visit our website for more detail information.

Consider the implication of this idea…

What would happen if I were to follow you with a camera crew 24 hours a day 7 days a week for the next 100 days while you went for your goals?

I bet 3 things would happen…

1)  You would START doing the things you say you need to do.

2)  You would STOP doing the things you know you shouldn’t be doing.

3)  You would MAKE monumental performance gains and change your life.

This is ALL possible through the discipline of accountability. Accountability serves and protects your character, credibility and commitments as it ensures that what you want to accomplish gets accomplished. The problem however is that the lack of accountability is one of the biggest constraints you have which prevents goal achievement. You see, throughout every area of your life it’s important to acknowledge that ALL unfinished goals, projects and relationships are the result of broken promises, unfulfilled commitments, and lack of accountability.

With that reality in mind, I wanted to share with you an exciting opportunity to achieve every goal you set, to enforce ultimate accountability into your life, and show you how you can make monumental performance gains. Gary Ryan Blair, otherwise know as The Goals Guy has put together what I believe to be the most comprehensive approach to goal setting and performance enhancement. It’s called the 100 Day Finish Strong Challenge and it begins on September 22rd, which happens to be the final 100 days of the year. The 100 Day Challenge is an extreme performance workout, because it’s all about getting things done, getting massive results quickly, and finishing the year strong. I’ve seen it, and it’s an amazing piece of work. Thee secret to making it work for you is the powerful accountability system built it enforces. But you don’t have to take my word for it, just click on the start button for the below video. You will be amazed with this thought provoking  program:
